Case Study - Brookside
Overview
Brookside, is a detached traditionally built cottage which was to be substantially extended and altered internally. This involved the removal of several original loadbearing walls to open up the existing building into the extension. In addition the new roof over the extension was to be vaulted which meant the introduction of structure within the roof to prevent roof spread.
We were employed via Matthew Montague Architects, to undertake the structural design required as part of the proposed alterations and extension.
